Greenwich Academic Coaching is a Greenwich, CT-based coaching and tutoring company that serves the high-achieving families of Fairfield and Westchester counties.
PrincipalNicholas Hall has made a lifetime of learning and teaching.
He earned his masters degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Applied Positive Psychology in 2006. This rigorous program taught the theoretical and scientific underpinnings of the psychology and behavior of flourishing, positive emotions, success, and coaching.
He received his bachelors degree in philosophy and music from SUNY College at Buffalo in 1996. He has also completed coursework in education and financial planning. His main research interests are occupational fit and work-life satisfaction.
His masters thesis was on character strengths and person-occupation fit. The paper looked at what character strengths were most prominent in particular occupations. This paper is in the editing phase for publication. He is also a co-author on another publication in press for the Journal of Organizational and Occupational Psychology. He is co-author with two of his professors, Chris Peterson of the University of Michigan and Martin E. P. Seligman of the University of Pennsylvania. Seligman is also the Director of the Positive Psychology Center and the Master of Applied Positive Psychology program.
